I've got a Uniden 396XT scanner, Freescan loaded on my computer and a premium membership to Radio Reference. Nothing looks any different on the RR website. No premium stuff to be found. Nothing that looks like I can download the P25 Trunk info for Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, or anywhere else for that matter. Cutting and pasting was available without the premium membership. Doesn't seem to be working for trunked tables anyway. It would probably work for a conventional table (EZ-Grab) if I cut and paste. Not seeing where the premium membership is getting me anything.

Can someone please tell me what absurd thing I'm missing? Looks like right now I would have to figure out how to program Freescan manually, or program the 396XT manually.

Thanks!

Nevermind. I got the answer from a similar thread from today. I'd delete the post, but it's not an option.

The user manual is available via 'Help/Online Help' in FS or here's the link to the specific section...(all links are in blue)

Freescan RR Trunk Import - The RadioReference Wiki

Checking the list of trunking systems in Colorado, I didn't see anything for Larimer County except a LTR system for the event center. I suspect you want to program a site or two for the State DTRS system.

You might want to ask in the Colorado forum about which site(s) you want to use. I see 4 sites for Larimer county, and I have no idea which one(s) would work best for you. This is a very important question to ask, as it will determine how well you hear this system. The concepts behind programming multi-site systems are always difficult when you're getting started, so it's best to get someone in your neck of the woods to help.

To import into FreeSCAN using your RadioReference premium membership, load FreeSCAN, then goto:

File > Import > RadioReference (choose trunked or conventional).

Thankyou. That was what I was missing. It's a piece of cake now. Yes, I was looking to get the DTRS info.

Thanks again.

P.S. It's hard to post a nevermind or thankyou when there's a delay for a new member.
But this should be my third post so no more delays.
