396XT New Firmware and Backlight

Has anyone else noticed an issue with the back light after doing the firmware update? I can't seem to get the "Infinite" setting to "take".

It does work if I set it to keypress, but for some reason the Infinite setting isn't cooperating with me.

Same here, no troubles at all... Have you attempted a factory reset and then reloading you're data into the radio?

Mine is fine too. Check and make sure the settings were not changed.

I'm thinking I got some gremlins at work probably merely coincidental to the firmware update. Tried a factory re-set, no luck.

The scanner shows the back light set for infinite but it doesn't behave that way. I've set it both via keypad programming and software programming.

So I'll adapt and overcome this by setting the back light to keypress and program the scanner's back light to come on when it stops on a channel.

My backlight works after the frimware update on the Uniden 396XT. No problems here.
