396xt numbers lighting

I see some pictures with the 396xt numbers lighting up as well to match the screen? How do u turn this on, I am running freescan so is their a scanner setting in their to turn on?


Also how do I get the latest weather frequency in my area to hear on the unit?

They number keys are always WHITE... they dont change colour to match the screen colour.

As for weather go to MENU - WX OPERATION - WEATHER SCAN
to hear your local weather channels... you can "scroll" and move onto the next one if the one your on isnt the strongest signal.
