396XT Serial Protocol Documentation ?

Hi,

I remember seeing somewhere a PDF of the serial protocol doc to program te 396T... I would like to know where I can find the same for the XT ?

I thinking about doing my own software; Currently there is only freescan, but its way too buggy to my tastes.
