I haven't found an answer in other posts on the site. For setting up this type of system, what system type would I use: Mot Type II/P25, P25 Standard (Digital XT) or P25 One Freq.Trunk (Digital XT)? My scanner is rebranded.

Thank you for you help.

Error: Actually this is a 396T model....

I believe it would be Mot Type II/P25. It would help to know what system you are trying to program.

If it's a 396T, the original firmware that comes out of the box does not support rebanding (not 'rebranding'). You need to update the firmware first, and that process is a royal pain in the arse. It's documented in this article in our wiki (anything in blue is a link)

Updating the Firmware in Uniden DMA Scanners - The RadioReference Wiki

Be sure to read the Uniden article completely...best regards....Mike

That's correct for a XT model, but the OT said he fat fingered the model number, and it's really a 396T, not a XT....

Thanks for the help. I did the frimware update some time ago. OHI063 it's a system for Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. I don't know it is actually active.

Thanks again for the help.
