396XT unlocking groups

OK, I've done this twice by accident, and don't know how to fix it without re-linking my scanner with the computer.

I accidentally disengaged all the groups within a system, and the scanner then says "Nothing to scan" I tried to re-engage the groups with function-group# and all I get is the annoying beep.

How can I get the groups to come back without having to do it in the computer?

Extremely annoying the first time. But once you understand the problem and how to fix it, it's not really an issue.
