Wow I'm surprised a dept store 3rd alarm with 4 depts onscene in Castle Rock and no posts here. I was onscene about 5 minutes into the call and monitored all simplex FG's and the only one used was FG 4 as assigned.

I was listening Jim. It's fun to hear fireground 4 isn't it? They were pulling Parker Fire and Littleton to go down there. It sounded like they got a little tight at one point, alot of shuffling around. I'm sure a dispatchers nightmare keeping track.

Pretty exciting for one rack of clothes.

But 80% of the units justb sat "staged" in the parking lot.

Yeah man those are sweet shots!

I'm also wondering how you got into the store while it was on fire   Judging by the amount of smoke though it doesn't appear to be such a big fire. But I really can't see the big picture.

It was not a big fire just one rack of clothes that was set but pretty smoky and did activate sprinkers in that area.

Kohls is reopening today for business.

Yes they are certainly are good quality and thats one of the reason I posted them. Tim is the CRFD photographer and many of his works are published on firehouse.com and other national sites.

The cost estimate of the damages has increased from $50,000 to $75,000, but Kohl’s was able to reopen their store yesterday.
