This one is P25 half ENC...usually.

It's always been hard for me to understand what is being said by the unencrypted half.

Anyone have a record of this in their database?

The 4 entries in my logs for this one Freq are all VA Hospitals.

Does it sound Police or Maint related and what is the NAC for the P25?

Well, that's the problem I've been having with identifying this one, I can never understand the unencrypted transmissions. They're not encrypted or anything, just sounds like they're holding the mic too close to their mouths.

It is usually a female that is not ENC, like a dispatcher or base, and it does sound more Maintenance related. I never hear anything like what I hear on FPS or any other police agency.

None of my scanners are capable of decoding NAC.

Anyway, I will continue to monitor it. I'm a news photog, so I basically drive around all day listening to the scanners.

I'll post back if I find anything more out.

This is a freq for VA Police Department for The Indianapolis Hospital campus.

Thanks. That's what I thought based on the freq's use in other cities, but I was not sure.

I did hear some activity again tonight, from 8-8:30 pm local time. "Charlie 8101" and some other stuff.

Still nothing certain though. I think I'm just a little out of range here in Noblesville.
