I've been doing a lot of federal monitoring in eastern North Carolina. Seems to be a lot of activity in the 406 - 410 MHz. In Pitt County. 409.025, NAC 1F3, radio ID 602, TG ID – 304 is very active although is encrypted. Anyone got any idea what this could be?

If you have an R.S. radio or a Whistler, put 409.0250 in a Tune Search mode, attempt to locate a system I.D. # if that happens to be a control channel. 409.0250 is most likely a V.A. use, but that is only a guess. That exact freq. is used out in California as V.A.
The V.A. here is Asheville does not appear to be a trunked system... So I just don't know, good luck
