A couple a ? How long does it take to get your account set up once you have sent a check? Next When you download any of the software how is it used to transfer freqs to your scanner. Also what software works best with the BCD396T.

As for the software, it depends if you want to pay for it or not. I have the free Uniden software and it works fine for me (can download it here http://radioreference.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41319). Other than that, I'm not quite sure what your asking.

Yes I`m talking about sending a check to RR. Do they wait till the check clears before recognizing you as a member.
I want to know which software to get for my BCD396T and how to get the fregs off the screen and into the scanner.

Well, I would assume that whenever Lindsay gets the check, you will become a supporting member.

As for the programs, are you talking about downloading info off the the site directly onto the program? If so than I dont believe Unidens software does that, you would have to purchase Butels ARC396- http://www.butel.nl/bc396/bcd396t.html

I think that at one point, there was a bit of code that was provided by UPMAN (I don't remember for certain that it was UPMAN) that allowed you to pull directly from the site for loading a 396. You might check the Wiki.
