Hearing sporadic talk from a person who is apparently working atop a radio tower. Climber often refers to the winch. I hear the sound of wind along with the very short voice transmissions. Cannot hear the person the climber is talking to, and who I suspect is on the ground. Receiving the transmissions on 8 different model handheld portables with rubber duck antennas.

416.325 is the input to 418.900. Chicago DEA 2. Always 156.7 for the 36 years I've monitored the UHF system.

Hearing this in the Lemont, Homer Glen, and Orland Park areas.

What make/model scanner? Could it be an image of a 460-465 Mhz Channel ?

PSR500, SC200, HT1000, HT750, 396T, R5 for handhelds, and PRO2006, R7100, and 780XLT for fixed. I doubt it was an image receiving it on carrier and with 192.8 programmed into all radios mentioned. Second harmonic does not make sense either.

Did not have time yesterday to search business band frequencies or use DFE. Hoping they will be active again today, but it sounded as if they finished the site work yesterday at 5:30pm.

My PSR600 images from UHF when in the Gov A-Band [406-420]
lots of 451/452 around 406-410 and 460 Police in the 416-420 range.

Best of luck hunting ...
