All over the map.
Anyone aware of the usage of 420.9625 DPL 205 as a point to point link by any amateur repeaters in the Tri-State Area? I was receiving a constant carrier, with occasional voice transmissions sounding like a scheduled voice net this afternoon in Cranford.

420-450 MHz is ham radio. You won't find any FCC licenses except for some in the Canadian border area in the 420-430 range.

Probably a link between 2 repeaters, or a link carrying audio traffic back to a repeater site from a remote receiver site. Next time you hear it, scan the 2 meter and 70 cm ham repeater bands to see if you can match the audio being heard.

Don't rule out 220, 900, 10 meters or 6 meters for where the actual repeater maybe.
