I was looking for a freq for Depew schools (erie county). The only freq in the database is 462.150 which also comes back to saianet niagara falls site. I did a Fcc search which came up with a few frequencies for the school. I have not had any luck picking up anything related to a school. One of the freq is 429.6625. That freq is also assigned per fcc to saia. I am getting color code 1 and talkgroups that show up in saia database. This freq is not in the database at all. Anyone have any other info on it? It is cc1 so i was thinking it belongs to seneca site 1 which has cc1. There is not much activity on it.

429.6625 is the input to a repeater on Seneca Tower. You'll only hear mobiles/portables. Would be very limited communications, and one way.

429.6625 would be the mobile frequency. Repeater frequency is 424.6625.

those are the freq i found yesterday on FCC site. I am only 3 miles away from schools. I have not heard anything on them. The 424.66250000 shows a power of 75 watt. I assume those are the buses. However, on that freq i just pick up the saia input repeater. Why would FCC grant licsense on that freq to two different companies so close together?429.6625 would be the mobile frequency. that might be it. Sounds like bus on borden road. Funny thing that freq also shows on FCC to fm communications. School is using analog DCS 023
Typical to have multiple users on a business channel. The school is just an antenna on the building so it is probably for on-site coverage only.
It's actually quite common for entities to operate on frequencies licensed to radio shops, so there's really nothing unusual about it.
Remember that in order to have something listed in the database, you have to create a submission once usage is confirmed.
Never submitted do database but it does look like 451.450 dcs 023 is depew school buses. I will try and submit this
