Once you get the hang of it, these scanners are pretty awesome. Today was the final "test" for the 536; how it would do with the GPs. Once you get the settings rights, it's pretty damned awesome. Drove from Carmel, NY down to the Rockland/New Jersey border. The 536 kept track of where i was an turned on and off favorites I had programmed. Since I do a lot of traveling on my days off, I have 32 favorites programmed in the scanner from different states. It scanned only the areas within the ranges of the systems. I look forward to giving it the real workout when I drive out west again in the summer.
