ive been using discovery mode for years conventionally. recently i started running discovery on 800mhz 850-860
when it hears a motorola analog type 2 system voice channel as conventional, it sets a stop recording bit immediately for that frequency and wont record.
example. the next to the last 1 on tthe right is the stop recording bit. 1= no recording plus it puts the S on there too.

any ideas on how to get this to record and not immediately lock out? this only happens on 800mhz conventional discovery. i can scan vhf or uhf discovery conventional and it works fine.
