I have had this up and running on my 536 from about 10 PM last night works great, I have not tryed it on my 436 yet, but at this point very nice app. Thanks, I like the hit counter and more.
I downloaded and installed the app onto chrome and I cannot get it to work with my scanner.

Is sound supposed to go through the computer? Or does it stay on scanner?

OK can you elaborate on " doesn't work " ? After you run the Scanner monitor application what happens? Be detailed please.
sorry when I click on the "select the port for the scanner" it will not show anything just blank and when I hit the refresh list I still get nothing.

You need those & you must have the radio in serial mode, not mass storage mode.
I hadn't seen this thread. I was looking for a program that would allow me to have a decent sized display on a tablet with the radio remote mounted in my vehicle, and this fits the bill perfectly! THANK YOU!!!
I get two files in that one is a inf file and one is a cat when I click on the inf file it is a readme.
It's a driver. When you connect your scanner to the computer and put it in Serial mode (hit the ./no key), it will search for drivers. When given an option, tell it you want to install manually and point it to the place where you unzipped the files to.
If you still have trouble, I'd suggest looking on Google on how to install drivers, or search the forums here, as lots of people have posted on the same topic.
You won't be able to connect to any software on your computer (except Sentinel) until you install the drivers.
