I've found a problem with the 436 scanning the 150-162 MHz band where the channel step is 15 or 7.5 kHz. This applies to Quick Search and Custom Search. Instead of consistently falling on the proper channels it is often 5 kHz high or low of the target.
I've had this problem with other radios, but making sure the band limits are set to proper channels has always solved the problem. But I can't find any way to keep the 436 on track.
My Custom Search ranges are 150.045-154.505 and 154.650-160.200 with a 7.5 kHz step. I also tried a 15 kHz step, but it can't stay on track either way.
Any ideas?
