436HP question

I just got the 436HP, and put the batteries in it, and i have an iPhone USB block a/c plug, and when i plug the USB cable into the 436, does it ask if I want to charge the batteries, mine didn't, it just asked about Mass storage or Serial mode, and thats it, nothing about chargeing the batteries. Any help, thanks

It will ask when powering off. It does not charge while operating.

I've been told and read, that a iPhone USB block a/c plug works great for the 436.

Question is, does when you have it plugged into a wall plug, does the scanner ask if you want to charge the batteries?, like the HP-1 does?
