Cheapest place i found was Amazon for the radio but then what or is someplace else easier ???
Just kinda looking for guidence from someone who has done it

Amazon is currently at $479.95, ScannerMaster at $489.95. Bearcat Warehouse and HRO are around $460.00. Webtron-x is at $479.95 on their site, but about ten bucks less on their eBay listing for the same scanner. Amazon's price may fluctuate up or down from the price you see right now.

Regardless of who you purchase from, do not pay for the dealer to program the scanner nor add the NXDN upgrade (or either of the other available upgrades). A database scanner, such as the 436HP, is very easy to program yourself. If you get stuck on something or have a question, multiple people here on RadioReference can help you, and some might also give you a starter file to get you going. Most dealers charge $75 or more for each of the paid upgrades. You can do it yourself for less. Register your scanner at My.Uniden.com, then you can purchase the NXDN upgrade for $60.00. DMR is also available, as is ProVoice, though that format is dwindling away as it is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
