What is up with bearcat scanner.com charging $10 for a battery door for a 125at then charge $45 SHIPPING!!!!!! I have looked all over and can't find shipping under $10 ANYWHERE

Have you tried Bearcat Warehouse? Link goes directly to a replacement battery door.
I always buy stuff from here & never had issues with insane shipping prices from them.

Gouging on shipping needs to be regulated and should be treated like robocalls. IOW delete. zNot do business with any outfit that does that. Greed, pure and simple.

Did you even look and choose the lowest shipping method cause it looks like you have flat rate 1 - 5 days for 35.00 selected when you could get USPS 1 - 5 day Priority for 12.55 and change..




I can get it for 22.55 total delivered.

Went to a different site and $10 for $9 part which isn't bad butt not great/\. All this so I can monitor marine and VHF fire dispatch when I'm travelling on my scooter. I know I'm griping but come on

He borders on prices gouging... just compare his SDS GPS (Search: 5 results found for "BC-SGPS") to the same thing over at Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XR6GWDQ/), and I've seen Amazon's drop just under $80 once in a while. As for "Warehouse", just look at Bing or Google, it's just a UPS store.

Yeah, where is the price gouging? He sells for 99 and the amazon link sells 85. The one on amazon is sold and shipped by amazon which means amazon buys from 3rd party vendors and resells. So if they by more than BCW, then they would get a better price.

Like I said, I know a lot of people here like him. His EBC100 is just under $100 while Amazon's EBC100 is just under $70. Sorry, I vote with my wallet.

Shipping isn't just the postage/fee.

It's the cost of the box/bag the part is packed into, the label and computer time to clear the order, the time ($pay) for a human to do the above, the overhead of accepting credit cards plus whatever the actual carrier charges.

It's called "life"
