I am hearing some type of security checks on 452.650. They have mentioned, carriage house, farm house, pump station. Also first floor.

I am picking this up from around 5th street in St. Charles near I70.

I can't find a licence that matches what it could possibly be, does anyone know who this is?

I was aware of the FCC Database search. But the only thing it could be, would be,
WARNER COMMUNICATIONS CORP 452.65000000 WPOX350 A CLAYTON ST. LOUIS IG

However theres no way of seeing who is leasing the radios.

The other licensees were either too far or would not fit the criteria for the checks I heard that mentioned, farm house, carriage house, Meramac Lodge.

Did it have a 100.0 PL tone? Also did it make noise like someone is trying telephone interconnect?

The Being plant in on the grounds of Lambert Airport still operates an analog 800MHz trunking system. Is the frequency you are monitoring from another Boeing complex in St Charles?

I've not received a single analog voice hit since this thread was posted on 452.6500 and I'm not far from the main Boeing plant nor St. Charles.
I overlook the Missouri and am just west of Lambert.
I get bursts of what sounds like TRBO noise but have not tried decoding it.
No analog audio at all here though so my guess is this is something more in St. Charles area and low power.

None of the references like "carriage house" are ringing any bells in my head.
Sounds more like a farming or horse operation from the descriptions given.
I do wish I could get some of the analog audio though. Has anyone looked further west like Wentzville or even the Warrenton areas?

Anything I've ever received Boeing related is always on their trunked system but I've never heard them mention any of the same references. Not even close. The guys on the trunked system are pretty professional sounding with their terminology.

Yup, definitely different license. They are constantly mentioning "Carriage house parking" or a pickup at "Carriage house parking"

Some type of unlicensed antiques shop maybe that is more horse related?
Just a wild guess as I know there are places like that in your area.
Tis a mystery that's for sure!
And the Meramac Lodge throws me for a loop! I know Union Electric had a place with a similar name down west of Valley Park on the Meramec but I think they closed that up and deveploped homes on the property some time back.

There is some type of place where the Missouri and Mississippi come together but I forget the owner. It sits up high and a radio transmitter would have good coverage but I think I'd also hear that signal from here.

How about The Carriage House Assisted Living in St Charles? Could be radios that are used at the site with medical, landscaping, transportation people etc. Friendship Village South uses a bunch of radios with different channels for daily use.

Just trying to help a little.

That sounds like a very good possibility scanman!
Maybe unlicensed or licensed under another name maybe.
Usually the big guys like Warner would put them on one of their higher power repeaters if they are providing the license but not getting a signal here makes me think this is pure simplex or low power with a low antenna.

OP, have you tried monitoring what should be the input on 457.650?
That may give you a clue if they are really close to your home QTH.
I have no idea where The Carriage House Assisted Living Center is located.
I did actually hear faint but very weak analog voice since my earlier post this evening. It was not strong enough to make anything out though so I'm still clueless on this one.
It also appeared to be wideband as that is the mode I picked up analog in on an R9000. Could not hear any signal when I switched over to narrowband but that is not really a good test with the signal being so weak. I did have enough signal to verify that 452.650 was the center frequency though.

I take that back, after tuning with an R8500 and R2500, the signal does appear to be narrowband if it is the same signal.

Having a hard time posting, the forums appear to be having slow access issues again.
