Was northbound on the 14 between Santa Clarita and Acton when I started getting hits. I have the freq in my radio for California Department of Water Resources, its used at Aqueduct pumping facilities across the state. In the RR database the freq and tone match a transit agency in Ventura County however what I heard sounded a lot like law enforcement.

Anyone have any idea who this could be?

Bryan if I am correct, that freq, is the local bus transet called gold coast transportion.
They are located in Oxnard but the repeater sets on Hall Mtn or red Mtn,
Not sure what mtn top its in and they are just maybe 2 mi apart both located in Ventura, just off the 101 north side.
The repearter can be heard south into Camarillo and the Conejo grade.

Though frequency is licensed to State of CA for quite a few points. In LA Basin the Exposition Park Police use it (with DPL 143)

Boy I was wrong, that map showes South mtn (3 differance sites up there)
I was sure the repeater sat up on Red mtn, NE of city of Ventura.
Gold Coast runs a bus into Ojai and I KNOW 450.mhz shadows up there from So Mtn in Santa Paula Ca.
My old company i worked at was a 470. mhz and never worked to Ojai.
just food for ponder.

I know about Gold Coast, but like my post says I was hearing law enforcement, not a transit agency.
