curremtly picking up a control channel on 453.475 for a digital system. I'm located in north-east NJ. the closest possible system is the West Virginia statewide system. anyone else hearing this or able to confirm this? (West Virginia Statewide Interoperability Radio Network (SIRN) Trunking System, Statewide, West Virginia - Scanner Frequencies)

I've heard digital activity on that frequency for a long time. Its a real nuisance because that frequency is also Pequannock Police's seconday repeater.

It was definitely a digitial trunked control channel. Every once and a while a transmission would go over and you would hear what sounded to me like P25 data. The antenna I was using on the scanner at our desk is on top of the 3sty building at my job and is specifically for UHF. If i hear it again I'll try and confirm.

currently hearing it.. I know the Yonkers freq's, I monitor them on occassion. but this is definately a control channel for a system
