Not a biggie in terms of a catch, but still an 8 hour drive for me .

I'm situated in Toronto Canada and I snagged Putnam Village Volunteer Fire Company on 46.38 , which I supposedly have tagged as Mutual Aid for Western New York. They appear to be at the eastern most part of NY state.

Most times tropo seems to favor South or West but not today.
This was around 6:00 PM EDT.

Anybody else notice east biased traffic today ?

nice catch. putnam is a few miles from. 46.38 is the main dispatch channel for putnam county!

Picked it up here in the Detroit area at 2115 EDT. Also was hearing a few CT fire depts on 33.xx & 46.xx, between 2100 & 2130.
