A great deal of active and retired FDNY firemen live up in that neck of the woods, with a lot of them working in the Bronx. I'm sure it has something to do with them wanting to listen in on occasion.

If they are going to rebroadcast NYC, I would rather they did Manhattan. Just say'in! Ever since they left high band I can't hear them.
