Does anyone know what the frequency 46.58 MHz is used for?

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?freq=46.58&action=sf&stcd=OR

Most FCC listings seem to show them as having a (FB) fixed base and several (MO) mobiles.

They are licensed to quite a few counties and there are a couple of Oregon State licences as well. Some county licenses mention search & rescue, a state license mentions OEM in Salem as a contact, most are just blank for a description. I've never heard any traffic on these so I was wondering if anyone else knew something...

Thanks

I saved a doc off the web from pre-fear days:

Oregon State Civil Defense Net
OES KVG882 (FB/MO)
46.58 PL 123.0 hz
Low band with a microwave link to Mary’s Peak.
Primary use as local link between the ECC and Local
Emergency Managers/Directors.

This info's a bit dated. Probably was primary
before the advent of new technologies.
But if you-know-what really hits the fan,
and everything goes in the dumper,
I'd be listening there, too.

I've never heard a peep on it myself.

It's not CEMNET.
CEMNET is State of Washington only:

Word to the wise:
Save everything and anything you may find useful in the future.
You never know when some bureaucrat may go into panic mode
and delete info on the web for our collective "safety".
