Well was listening today and heard a call for a drowning at wildwood lake and heard a unit responding m/a for flanders ambulance. looked it up and sure enough flanders is on the island in suffolk county and the freq comes back to riverhead. good sound actually better than southern - lol. Given the fact that it's right across the sound I guess it's not really skip. I'm still trying to figure out who me and manny were hearing over 453.175 from down south last week.
