• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

This is a repeater located on pumpkin hill in Ashford. It is a 4 channel scanning low band radio. It repeats 33.44, 33.78, 33.80 and 33.90 on the same pl with different pl inputs for transmit. In the future when this radio gets replaced it will most likely move to a multichannel cross band that does not scan. The scanning feature is good for people who want to listen to these channels but not very effective for operations since it will lock on to any acitve frequency with no priority. As of right now you should be able to hear 33.80 provided something else is not keying up the radio.

Hope this helps.
