Can anyone tell me who uses 460.600 nac170. They talk of Charlestown.

That's a WVIRP trunked frequency. Obviously, since it is P25, you can just listen to it conventionally.

Are you near Ridge (Hampshire Co) or are you near Rockport (Wood Co)

Those are the two possible sites that would be using 460.600.

Ok, if you're in New Franklin PA, then you're about 50 miles away from Site 27 of the WVIRP, which is in Ridge WV (Hampshire Co).

Some other frequencies associated with that site are:

453.3375
453.9250
460.4125
460.6000
460.7500 * see link below
460.8375 * see link below

NOTE: One of those freqs would be the active control channel, the last two may not be in use yet, and the rest of them would have P25 traffic that you could monitor conventionally if you wanted as well.

I was listening to WVIRP (Berkeley and Hampshire) at the same time and did not hear anything on the system. Sounded like law enforcement with the mention of a post office. Have not heard since I posted the question.
