461.275 near Boston MA - ???

Listening to 461.275 there seems to be Waltham buses and Boston School police

The Waltham buses sign on around 630 am

From Boston Schools, just the dispatcher is heard - units sent to schools for out of control student and person with knife etc - (didnt check for pl/dpl)

Didnt get any PL nor DPL from Waltham buses / dispatcher this morning

At one point a Morse Code ID was heard and then the bus dispatcher immediately said "test OK" - the bus was not heard on 461.275

Any chance that Waltham buses on 461.275 are part of a trunked system?

(this is all analog voice traffic)

have not heard Boston signal beating against Waltham signal - any chance they are sharing a repeater site?

FCC ULS did not appear to have any license for Waltham Schools - need to check General Menu Reports

Watham Schools does not seem to have a PL - still checking for a DPL

Also seeing a trunked system license WQQV705 for Part 90 eligible license use, many school buses operate on these type of systems. It could be possible you're hearing traffic from two different stations on the same frequency. Try plugging in the other FB6 frequencies on this license and see if you hear similar traffic, see the same talkgroups, etc

listening to 461.275 today - not getting any DPL nor PL from Waltham school buses - and noticing constant clicks on the channel - and hearing a coupe of partial conversations - yup - it seems that the waltham school buses are on a trunked system - I dont have any capability to get any system parameters

listened to 463.40 for approx 1 hour - just heard clicks - also heard 1 Morse Code ID at 939 am - it might come up every 30 minutes
