I was scanning search and freq 462.025 showed Color Code 10 TS 1 TG 5400953 UID 5400501. Was hearing Truck to base. I couldn't find any info around the Polk to other counties around me.

That frequency triggered a thought in my mind too. Amongst other places it's licensed for 512.7 m high in Bithlo East of Orlando. 97 watts ERP ( 😉) as a DMR machine. Well within the possibility of you hearing it in Lakeland. License to MCA now, it was somebody different 5-6 years ago.

Your right Dave, that was a mtr2000, now mtr3000, I serviced that repeater as they were a rack across from ours when we had FFT site 21 there. 👍🏻 there were 3 ltr channels, now dmr. Did several service calls for them back in the day. I'd have to go back and look through my paperwork, but I don't see it licensed 🤷‍♂️

By the way, formaly ALLCOMM.

And yes, channel 5, 462.0250
Circa Sept-2022

I wonder if this is from a trunk system? I haven't heard the traffic for hours last night. I'll try again this evening. If I hear it again I'll trun DSDPlus.

Heard about something about Post Office. Not sure if its a warehouse somewhere and getting a load or dropping off at the P.O. Just heard Bus Number at the library. Driver 6 to base 10-8 on brown when done go to Orange.

Since you're going in the way back time machine, that frequency on that tower was originally a Motorola Micor community repeater circa 1998-1999. I converted several of those and some MSF5K to LTR for Allcomm (dba Telecom Network). Waaaaay before DMR.

@bravo14 what you are hearing doesn't sound like Publix or Amazon kind of traffic. More like trunk traffic or different TGs on a conventional DMR channel expected from a service provider.

That's what I was thinking using a service provider. Tampa HART is on UHF analog and Linx Orlando is on Orange p25 system.

Citrus Connection has colored routes, but their old frequency was 800 MHz conv. analog. I seem to remember you telling me they are using Transit 1 and Transit 2 on Polk TRS now.
