During today’s snow event I was experimenting with my DSD+Fastlane setup and manually tuning different frequencies that were visible on the “scope” window. Came across voice traffic on 463.925 that had references to “salting” operations. On a whim, I fired up the LRRP.exe program and saw activity in central MA – see screen capture.

I’m new to DSD+ and hoping someone can help me with the following questions:

What agency is using this frequency? – I searched the RR dB with no local hits
What modulation scheme allows this data with voice – DSD only indicates FM

(I’m located on the Andover/Tewksbury border with the stock RTL-SDR antenna.)

Thanks,

Most likely the plows for Rutland Nurseries using DMR for Voice and LRRP for GPS locations

There are Tons of DMR and LRRP out there in your listening area, that have not been reported/shared/found.
Simplex, Repeater, Cap+, Con+ etc etc

Enjoy and listen/discover and share what you find, no matter how obscure you think it could be
Wow, thanks for the quick response and also making me aware of this new (to me) frequency resource!
