478.2375?

Along with the existing known frequencies of: 451.85 MHz 472.0875 MHz & 478.2375 MHz, Metro Fire Radio has an additional licensed frequency: 452.125 MHz under the callsign: WPVZ221 located in Totowa, NJ. Why don't you just call them & they should tell you what's going on as they list their operating frequencies on their website.

Thanks for the info guys. I think the 478 freq is also no longer in use. I haven't heard the repeater for at least 2 months and I used to get it full scale up here in Ct. I never heard Metro Fire on 453.000
I hear CityWide on that freq. PL 167.9 at full scale here in Ct.
I hear 451.850 once in a while. Never tried the 472 freq. but I will program it in.
Bob

Yea, the 478.2375 (North) channel is active, although not as active as our Montclair machine, solely due to population in that area vs. our central machine... although activity has been and will be picking up. As for the 453.0000 machine out of Manhattan, it is a shared repeater and only used as a back up so we don't romp on CWRNY all the time.
