Bob was a man who GREW the hobby because he was kind and helpful to others.

In this day and age we see too many folks who drive people away with passive aggressiveness, sociopathic behavior, sarcasm and who are just plain interested in feeding their egos. Bob was not one of those people, Bob was one of the good guys. I'll miss him.

I have not spent much time here, over the past couple months, and then find this news.

Like most others, I appreciated what Bob brought to topics. He had a nice way of discussing things, and a good knowledge base. His passing will leave a void in many discussions.

Haven't logged in on here in a while and this was the first thing I saw. I got to meet him one time and he was a nice guy and I do remember the bucket of scanners. May he RIP.
