I would think with the fire danger in CO being the highest its been since I have lived here, they are not going to put up with peoples lack of good judgement when it comes to fireworks.

CSPD announced a week ago zero tolerance for fireworks calls tonight, Im sure most other departments will be doing the same thing, should make for some great listening state wide tonight.

Colorado Springs FD responded to a call of a small grass fire caused by fireworks last night on DTRS TG 4620. I was thinking how it was unbelievable.

My lawn has some brown spots due to this heat, you hate to over water but for this week i'm going to do it, normally i don't water on Wednesday but today I am just incase. Even thou i'm working today there is bound to be someone lighting off some fireworks tonight in the neighborhood.

Happy Fourth of July fellow scannerist!!!

It was a real quiet night down here compared to last year, glad to see some folks still have some common sense and heeded all the warnings.
