SnoTel 40.53 Data Very Strong into Minnesota at 0910 Central
Programming other stuff into the scanner now.

Is there a way to find out which snotel stations one is hearing?

The 40.53 freq is the base station transmitting out to the outlying stations. The outlying stations transmit back on 41.53 I think (this is from memory). The base trasnmitter uses a large antenna and several kilowatts and the outlying ones are at a few hundred watts with smaller beam antennas. I think the modulation format is published but I dont know if there are any decoders available.
