5 ALARM FIRE

Did anyone hear it today? I saw 1 fire truck that was all white [maybe PG], but all 3 apartment buildings are gone. Thank God the tenants got out, but a lot of people will spend the week @ a school. I think I heard on 7 B that 1 unit may not get back to their county until 23:00 or so, & we had DC fire & other county & states filled in for us. So now they are sending them back home. I do not know what caused it, but what ever it was it sure made a mess. They should install alarms in the walls too if fire goes in the walls, I am happy that the tenants are safe & a lot of people lost everything [:-(]. but God will give them what they need.

Thank God for all the fire crews that came to the calls, both local & far away. Think they will have some units there overnight as well, I can just see it tomorrow when those people go back to work. It is sad that there are fires & yet some people do not leave unless they see something.

The building's are not gone, they are still standing. 3.5 million in damage. Believed to have started in a bathroom. Fire took off across the attic area and was hard to chase down. 42 apartments affected. Red Cross and building management assisting with shelter.I heard they were opening a high school near by for over night stays. 1 citizen and 1 FF transported for injuries.
