Hello, I am in Australia. Can someone do this for me please? Enter 163.6125mhz into your scanner and tell me if it enters correctly or rounds off to the nearest frequency.

I want to know if the 12.5khz steps are able to be used in this band with this radio.

I have a pro 96 and I can't change the steps in this band.

Thanks, Greg.

Goole the manual. It's called Flexstep. They are both capable of doing the 12.5's in the Vhf band.

Thanks Guys, I missed it in the manual that I had been looking at. Am happy that it resolves that frequency correctly.

Cheers, Greg.

The frequency 163.6125 ia already in the default 12.5kHz steps. There's no need to turn on FlexStep in this case.
