500 P25 issue

I am having some problems where my 500 will scan right by the local law channel and not receive incoming signals, however if I stay on the channel manually it is quite active. Does anyone have any idea why this might happen and what adjustments I can make to ensure reception? I am using the psredit program.

What system?? need your location ( state & County) trunk or Conv?

Sorry, I am located in Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota. It is a conventional object and doesn't hold the signal. I have tried with Att on and off as well.

Did you double check to see which scan list(s) it was assigned to?
