While listening to Delco Fire 4 (107.2 PL) I was hearing some background noise. So I pressed function + tune to see what it was. It came up the same frequency with a 100.0 PL. Sounded like police talk concerning notifying electric company. I did a license search in PA and NJ. PA the only thing that came back was Delco. In NJ I got these back. New Jersey Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference They are all listed as industrial business pool private trunked. Any idea what this 506.5125 PL 100.0 is? I will continue monitoring this.

Perhaps a conventional fallback or alternate use of a trunked frequency? Bucks Co has a few frequencies licensed for trunked use that are also used in conventional mode.

Tredyffrin township set up a command center.
Paoli, Berwyn, and Radnor, fire companies as well as the Tredyffrin police, public works, and busses now have radios that allow intercommunication between the agencies as well as cross-bands that allow communications with chesco east fire, Delco fire 4,12, 15 and Med B
Also on the radios are some other local fire company's private radio channels.

Okay just found out this 506.5125 with the 100.0 PL is actually an image of M5 (506.6125 PL 100.0). I'm monitoring Sector 4 and there was a borderline call with Glenolden and I heard background noise on Fire 4 while trying to monitor the Newtown job. I tuned the channel and found the traffic with the 100.0 PL to be identical to M5. Very strange.
