This morning I've picked up a Motorola Control Channel (SYS ID 7017) on the Camden County Countywide Police Frequency, 508.7875. I can't find anyone in the Philadelphia area who uses that frequency other than Camden County. Has anyone heard anything about Camden County moving to a trunk system using their current frequencies or am I just picking up something from a distance. I should mention I picked this up on my Pro 97 with the standard rubber duck. I'm in Delaware County just outside of Philadelphia. Any ideas?

The controll channel you are hearing is comming from Monroe Twp. in Middlesex County, New Jersey.( Check R.R. data base for system information). There must of been a band opening this morning. They have a T.R.S.( 500.00 Mhz.) using some of the same freqs. as Camden County.

Yeup, that's what I managed to pick up. First time I've ever picked up that system.

Yeah there was a band opening this morning as I was hearing all kinds of things from western Philly suburbs and NYC on UHF and VHF as I traveled to work this morning.
