I check it every day before leaving work and occasionally bring it up on my phone. It's about 90-95% accurate. Delays mostly updating the web page are probably the biggest issue. I like the traffic cameras also, they come in handy some times.

I always check Google Maps before leaving the house. That has the most real-time traffic information and displays the exact spot that traffic jams begin and end so I can bail out at the right exit. Waze used to be good but now I find that their traffic updates seem to be delayed compared to Google Maps.

on NJ511 the jackasses shut off the cameras when there is an accident or incident nearby the camera - half of the cameras don't work - because the NJDOT doesn't give a **** about maintaining them, also the RWIS weather stations that have pavement temperature sensors that would the motorist determine if I've is developing on the roads are not on the site BUT if you want to pay thousands to a third-party provider they are available to you so pay to play in NJ is alive and well, and who cares where the NJDOT ESP trucks are located, yeah your able to track them on NJ511 -, BETTER sites but too bad not in NJ is PA511 and Maryland Chart, Maryland hands down the best in the country, so again the NJDOT is a total and utter failure !! Use Waze !!

you are 100% correct. The cameras on Rt37 Toms River never work.It appears that TRPD control them.As you said any event that causes traffic problem the cameras are shut off or pointed into the trees. So to go another way is just a guess.
