I am using my 536 as a base unit and I have it sitting on a shelf . Unfortunately, as this
Unit does not have any rubber feet, etc., on the bottom it slides all over the place when
I use the various buttons and knobs.

Just wanted to pick brains here as to others are do resolve this problem. Any home
Brewed remedies?

Thanks in advance.

In the past, I've screwed the mounting bracket into a short piece of 2x4, then put the scanner into the bracket. A piece of no-slip drawer liner on the bottom of the 2x4 to keep it from moving around and I was good to go.

Nowadays I use a three scanner desk holder for my mobiles as base radios.

Thanks for the input. I found the little rubber feet, problem solved. Now I have to buy an external speaker since the one on the scanner faces DOWN!!!!

I got the feet on my mobile bracket to which the scanner is attached and canted upwards. I'm getting decent sound out of the bottom.

I know some folks have turned the scanner upside-down so the speaker is facing up, then set the display to upside down so it can be easily seen.
