536 hp

WOW!!!!! What a learning curve!!!!!! Just got my 536hp and started to read the manual, guess I'm going to have to go back to school! Manuel is not very user freindly. I own 3 pro 197s and thought that was a chalange. This Manuel is not user freindly I thought the whole idea of hp was to be easier to program. To me it looks like I need a computer programming course. I did set the clock and enter the zip but New England states like vt. Have fewer trans so my 536scanns New York and New Hampshire . I live closer to n.h. Then New York . And where I live it's hard with the mets to receive mass. Also I did set up close call and that works great

Seacoast area. Once you start getting a grip on setting up a favorites list it'll fall into place pretty quick. I only had a 536 for about 2 weeks before I returned it, took a few hours of reading and playing to figure it out as it was my first current Uniden, and I've been scanning since the 80's.

Dave I first had a radio shack tune able monitor with two stalls one for local and one for kcf415 in keene that was in the early 70s long time

Then I went to a costal scanner in the late 70s and kept on going lol
