My 1st 536 suffered the ever dimming LEDs and bad battery, so I decided to fix it up! Let's please not discuss why I didn't sent it in for free repair.
LEDs I used = 475-2782-1-ND, Battery = 728-1057-ND (note the battery was not a direct swap, slightly different pad configuration) All parts via Digikey, total cost was about $10 bucks. The LEDs are 603 parts, small but very doable if you've got the right stuff, only took about 15min to swap in and only lost one LED during the process! I replaced the 4 LCD LEDs and the 6 button LEDs.
I didn't take any PCB photos as those are already available on the forums here. I didn't think to take a before pict, but the unit has years of on time, display was very dim. In the pict below the bottom 536 is the repaired unit.
