So I just got my 536HP today.

It is sitting here beside my 436 and 996xt, and it is missing literally EVERYTHING.

I copied the file from my 436, and nothing.

Full bars of service on the other two radios.

What could I be missing?

Edit:
It's scanning a P25 system. It stopped on an EMS dispatch channel, but it's missing everything else. There is a long conversation happening on the 436 and 996 and it just didn't even stop on it.

Check the service types. Even if you did copy and paste of the data, the profile infomation may be different.

I went through the scanner and the Service Types are turned on.

Edit:
A quick key was apparently turned off. Hmm.

Still lots to learn.

Are you using Sentinel or some other SW? If using Sentinel, and you wrote your 436 file to the 536, it should pick up everything the 436 does. You did attach the antenna, right? (sometimes it's the silliest things we forget)

If any of the above doesn't help, try reading from your 436 and writing to the 536. Maybe there is a Quick Key that isn't enabled or some other setting.

BTW, other SW may perform the same way - I just don't know them well enough to say that they would.

Everything was on and good. For some reason two of the talk groups were turned off when it got wrote to the scanner. All is well now.

That's good to hear. Weird stuff like that happens sometimes. When I first got my 996T, I was using the Uniden software because there wasn't anything else available. I downloaded the information to the scanner and all seemed well. A couple of days later I noticed that I wasn't hearing anything from a very busy system. Looking on the scanner itself, I discovered that all of the channels had been locked out. Nothing I recalled doing, but they were still locked out.
