536HP can't seem to get radio ID to display

Set radio ID to on but never see any radio ID's on my P25 system.

In your profile, under display options, do you have Display mode set to mode 2, unit IDs?

The Unit ID display feature works good on mine (I have the Mode 2 (Unit ID Mode)) selected and have the 3 line display off.

If my scanner doesn't capture the first part of a transmission on a P25 system, the Unit ID doesn't always display. Also there are some talkgroups patched to VHF & UHF frequencies and Unit IDs do not always display.

I've also set up Alpha Tags for 1,100+ IDs and the alpha tag function works well.

So once you get all your settings in place, I'm sure you'll be happy with this feature!

I think I may have set it to 3 line display thinking that would make it show the UID. I'll check it when I get home. So much to learn about this scanner.

I changed from 3 line to 2 line display and now I can see the tags. Thanks for the tip. It's so nice to have this forum as finding thi stuff elsewhere can be difficult.
