The 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron is flying out of JBSA Kelly Field in San Antonio Texas. does anyone know what air to air frequencies they use?

Most likely they will be using SATCOM, as I understand it. AFAIK all the HF from them is pretty much gone. You might catch them on the various MWARA frequencies for that region, but I suspect that will be a very big long shot. They used to use a 13 Mhz MARS frequency, but I don't think I've seen any reports of it in years. Someone correct me, please...Mike

I am trying to see if I can hear them on the Kelly ATC frequencies. Kelly is on the other side of San Antonio from where I am. I am also listening to the San Antonio app dep frequencies and the area Houston Center frequencies. I do have a HF radio I can also use.

rafbmp, try 252.8 MHz. I heard the 53rd WR squadron using that for air-to-air communications when I was in Biolxi a few years back.
