5696kHz aircraft in distress

Reported at 2350EST Jan 19, 2012 (per CAMSLANT) regarding an aircraft that was in distress and reported to be losing altitude. The distress call was monitored by CAMSLANT on 5696 kHz.

US Coast Guard has cancelled the pan-pan message about the aircraft in distress.

So that is what i missed that night. Was it a commercial jet or private? Anyone know. Really clean recording
