Sorry, I don't understand what time 'right now' is. Please quote all times in UTC.- and who is XFM radio and where is KC. The only thing I can guess is that XFM is a pirate - and that's just from the frequency.
I figured my post time would be a hint 
It was about 8:00 PM Central time. I never know what UTC time it is and wasn't motivated enough to look it up.

Yes, but your post time is only good for where you are. If I'm round the other side of the world and I don't know where you are, how the ***** do you expect me to know what the ******* time is? I would have thought that with 3000+ posts you would have a bit more worldly savvy - obviously not.

yes, whenever you're mentioning something you are hearing or are being heard, please always use UTC. It's a standard on most HF mailing lists, as it is here.
There are many HF time stations where you can get the UTC time, as well as numerous clocks and other devices.

UTC is CST+6 so you only have to remember that and look at a clock. You can simplify it by setting your computer clock to UTC and turning savings time off, then glance at the task bar and there it is.

or get an old wall clock with no #s, write UTC hours in with sharpies
or get this little digital, block off the part that shows AM/PM and date, set it to 24 hours-instant UTC clock

Oh crap, why jump through hoops when you can buy a digital clock with a 24hr feature and set it to UTC? Since this is HF you can tune in WWV which gives time in UTC and set the clock with no hassle converting from another clock.

This was the 1st time I caught this particular station. They put on quite a show. Heard them mention the listener on OH, guess that was you Steve. I sent them a signal report of S7-S9 with some fading out at times. I like the music they play.

Buy yourself a cheap clock - take it apart - pull the hands off gently. Scale up or down my "Radio Room Clock Face" to fit - print, cut out and stick onto your clock. Put the hands back on - both hands on "12". Reassemble - set to UTC time. Hang on wall.
